In Slack findet die Team-Kommunikation innerhalb eines “Workspace” statt, in Discord schließt man sich auf einem sogenannten “Server” zusammen. Auch hier gibt es, wie bei Slack die Möglichkeit Channels zu erstellen. Diese können sogar, anders als bei Slack, weiter in genauere Kategorien unterteilt werden. Außerdem bietet Discord die Möglichkeit, direkt Voice-Channels zu erstellen. Diese beinhalten Video-Chats und Bildschirmübertragung.
